Instagram Girl and Goth Girl Costume

Our usual selves

Initionally this started as me doing a costume for a Instagram/basic white girl costume. But then my little sister decided to do me for a costume. Sooo… here we are. ;p

Instagram Girl Costume:
img_2144 img_2145 img_2149 img_2150 img_2164 img_2165 img_2166 img_2169 img_2171 img_2175 img_2180img_2195

For this I wore my holey tights backwards with a black tank top. My little sister loaned me a cardigan and infinity scarf from her own closet (and her phone for the selfie prop). I also flipped the tops down of my winter boots. My little sister did my bun for me and I miraculously did my own make-up and eyebrows! Woop! They came out much better than I expected. :3

Goth Girl Costume:
img_2205 img_2186 img_2202 img_2197 img_2198 img_2190

For this costume my little sister wore black skinny jeans, tank top, boots, and fancy jacket. I loaned her a couple bat necklaces. She did her own make-up and it’s super awesome too! She looks like such an elegant Goth :3

We had fun :3 Hehe. I had a lot of fun mimicking all those “artsy” selfies. My little sister makes such a cute Goth /)^.^(\  Let us know your thoughts down below! I shall post again soon! Bye 😀

Catch Up!

Currently Listening To: “Acid” – Ghost Town

Lots of pictures! Woop!

So lately I’ve gotten to fuck around in a park/playground because my little sister was meeting up with old friends on several days. So I played in the park and had fun. :3 The first day my sister and I were rescuing cicadas that got stuck in the puddles on some of the equipment while waiting for her friend.
IMG_1175 IMG_1293 IMG_1177 IMG_1181 IMG_1189 IMG_1196 IMG_1210 IMG_1211 IMG_1223 IMG_1255 IMG_1259 IMG_1276 IMG_1284 IMG_1290

There was also another big community yard sale in another little town, which has quite bad connotations for me, but one of my best friends from school lives there and I saw she had stuff set up and I wanted to rummage through her clothes, because I loved her clothes in school. She had this slight Goth aesthetic that I enjoyed. It took her a moment to recognize me, but then we were all hugs and laughing. We caught up a bit and I found out she’s moving. I need to start talking to her more, gah.
Anyway, my sister found so many movies from her, and I got a few and some clothes :3 Plus some studded belts I’m taking apart for the interesting studs. I also (didn’t realize until I got home) got this cool hoodie from her with built in head phones. I didn’t know there were headphones until I got to putting everything away in my room, I just got it because it was black and grey striped and I can always use more hoodies for Fall. This is great for when I go walking in the woods, I can just plug my music player into my hoodie and go. Hehe :3
IMG_1310 IMG_1317
The bottom three movies are from my friend’s house. The Strangers is from another and the top two are from another. (Also got the super glittery black tank top from a yard sale :3) Hey, I cut my bangs into cute little Lolita type bangs :3

I also got these two books from (my sister thinks she’s a teacher from the school) another house and they’re written very interestingly. The words and paragraphs are scattered across the pages, so you have to jump around to read them. It’s really cool!
I also found the third book in the Inkheart trilogy in my Dollar Tree! I got a thirty dollar book for a buck!
All these books I keep buying are just sitting on my bedroom floor in piles because I don’t have enough space on my shelves xD
IMG_1311 IMG_1312IMG_1163 IMG_1314

I have been super busy with updating my patches on my pants, they all needed a good re-application of paint. I have also been making more and it’s very relaxing and fun. I have a couple patches I finished after this photo, so they’re not shown. New Year’s Day, Blood on the. Dance Floor. I want to make an Andy Black and Black Sabbath one.
I found really cute jeans in the thrift store that I turned into shorts and painted a Ghost Town quote on the pockets. I’m also adding the Ghost Town patch I made to the front of the shorts.
IMG_1308 IMG_1315

Also in the thrift store!!! I found this beautiful lamp! I really needed a new lamp for my desk, because the one my mom loaned me has blown it’s bulbs and it was really big and bulky. So now all I had on my desk is a candelabra and I can’t burn that because the candles touch the shelf above my desk and I’ll burn the fucking house down. SO I was extra excited to find this lamp, not just for how it looks, but also because I need one when working on details at night. And it actually does work 😀
IMG_1313
I’m not usually into the more cutesy faeries, but I really liked this one. c:

I’m working dayshift, so I haven’t had the time to sit down and write, blog, vlog, or anything. Once I’m home, I watch a few videos, work on DIY projects, and play outside. Sitting down for long periods of time just hasn’t sounded enticing xD I really do want to post more, I’m just finding it hard to sit and write anything. Fuck.
Anyway, what are you guys up to? Any fun Summer plans or projects?

OOTD and Proper Post!

Currently Listening To: “Secrets of Wysteria” ~ Vocaloid (SteamPianist)

This song is about Albert Fish. It’s super creepy, especially the end ~ it contains words taken from his letter to Gracie’s parents. The broken sounding melody and singing that often doesn’t match the rhythm adds to the chilling sound. I love it, but the story behind it is sad too.

Hi guys! I’m trying! xD So I thought I looked really flipping cute today, so I decided to sit down and actually make a post, instead of my lazy Tumblr OOTD’s I sometimes do.

IMG_1154IMG_1156IMG_1157IMG_1155

Everything is thrifted/DIY’ed, except the little skeleton necklace ~ he’s from Walmart at Halloween time.

IMG_1160 IMG_1161 IMG_1162

I have been obsessed with little side-bags lately, after I had found a shoulder bag at a garage sale and turned it into a cool Visual Kei-inspired leg bag.  There is a strap at the top to hook around my waist, and one at the bottom to connect to my thigh. I had the radioactive patch from the bottom of the pair of Tripp pants I turned into shorts, I thought it would look perfect on here and it does.  This one has tons of space and pockets, but because most of the weight is supported by the waist strap, I only put the essentials in the bag

IMG_1159IMG_1158

I then found another cute small one at the thrift store yesterday and made it into a little side bag as well. They both look so fucking cool on! I love my tiny one the best though. :3 This one’s straps were detatchable, so if I want to use it for a shoulder bag again, I can. I painted and hand sewed the patch on and added spikes that had fallen off other jewelry, and studs. The top where the pin and studs are is not yet complete, I left that space open for any pins/decorations I may find in the future. I also added my pretty stained glass butterfly/moth pin ^u^ The zipper pull is from a pair of earrings.

I’m a terrible person, both of these say genuine leather. It doesn’t bother me since both of these are second-hand and the money is not actually going to the bad people.

It’s finally feeling like summer! It’s been in the eighties this past week and I have been enjoying it! I just bought a cute black and white stripped bathing suit at Goodwill the other day, and cannot wait to use it (the best part is the top part could be worn as an actual shirt if I wanted!) I am also excited about all the cicadas coming out. These little bugs are so cute and they’re benign to humans. One let me pet it, and it really liked my little sister, because she let it go and it just chilled on her hand for a while before deciding to fly off. :3 I have been seeing so many animals lately, which is one of my favorite parts of Summer.

IMG_1147IMG_1151 IMG_1152

I saw the moth outside of work one day while I was waiting to go home. The frog I found while my dad was cleaning the pool (one also surprised me while I was in the pool, he was so cute). And then a picture of the cicada my dad showed me.  They’re so cute and they make a really pretty sound 😀

I’ve mostly been outside enjoying the sun. But I’m also sick again, it sucks. I’m not dead, I promise, I just haven’t been feeling like sitting down and writing a proper post. I have been writing more with three of my stories. Scarred, the other one that accidentally ended up being in the same history as Scarred, and then a new one I purposely made to sit between the other two. It’s really fun and I cannot wait to start making connections through the three stories. I never imagined having a series-like of stories, but that’s how it has worked out and it’s really cool and exciting. Maybe I’ll share the other two here one day?

Anyway, I’ll see you guys later! Let me know if Summer has hit you guys and how you’re enjoying it!

Winter Boredom 2.0

Currently Listening To: “If I Only Were A Goth” -ThouShaltNot

It’s that time of year again. It’s too fucking cold out and I’m stuck inside and cold and need to burn all this stored up energy. So that goes into wearing everything in my closet and parading around my bedroom in them, dancing to my playlist of things. If I ever can grasp editing, I will have to film the shenanigans that go on when this shit happens. xD Anyway, onto the fashion show! >:D

IMG_0086 IMG_0088 IMG_0089 IMG_0091 IMG_0096

First few were kinda DIY centered. My dress, tank, skirt, and leg warmers I haven’t really gotten too much of a chance to wear them because it’s been too cold. So I of course want to play with those first. :3 I have been having the worst time wearing the velvet skirt I made. But I like this outfit I put together.

IMG_0097 IMG_0100 IMG_0104 IMG_0105 IMG_0106 IMG_0107 IMG_0111

Halfway through the second day of doing this, I decided I needed some liner and shadow under my eye.  xD

IMG_0112 IMG_0113 IMG_0116 IMG_0117 IMG_0118

A wild Scene soul appears. xD Haha.

The Death Note ensemble was my favorite to play with. :3 It’s not easy to see, but I’m wearing my Death Note socks as well. (And my Ryuk necklace :3) I actually use that notebook to keep the names I like for future stories and things.

IMG_0119 IMG_0121

IMG_0122 IMG_0123 IMG_0124 IMG_0125

I saved the more cyber ones for last (on that specific day). Oh my goodness, I love layering tights but it just takes so much effort because of all the friction. Also, I didn’t think of this, but for the leg warmers it might help to put on what you’re going to wear under them and take that measurement. My black ones were a little difficult to get over the two laters of socks/tights. Found my neon cat ears halfway through the thing and put those on. xD I also forgot my jewelry >.<

IMG_0128 IMG_0130 IMG_0131 IMG_0132 IMG_0133

Some of these are OOTD’s that I took, so my head may be missig in some because of that.

IMG_0165IMG_0263IMG_0265IMG_0268IMG_0269IMG_0270

I did a Soul Eater inspired outfit one day to go with my choker. (Sadly this choker is for sale ><)

IMG_0271IMG_0274IMG_0149

After a month, I’m finally getting shit finished and posted!  Hope you guys enjoyed this. I hope to get an updated DIY up soon. Let me know your favorite ensemble. Hope all your days are well. c: Bye guys!

Dark Faerie Make-up

Currently Listening To: “Vivica” -Jack Off Jill

Told you guys I’d be back with more faerie make-up…. I really, really like this one though c:

IMG_3511 IMG_3513 IMG_3514 IMG_3515

Materials Needed/Used::

  • IMG_3523 Eyeshadow Primer (Hard Candy)
  • Setting Spray (Hard Candy)
  • Purple-y/pink eyeshadow (L.A.Colors Palette)
  • Black Eyeshadow (Sugarpill “Bulletproof”)
  • Glitter Black Eyeshadow (Sugarpill “Stella”)
  • Glitter Purple Eyeshadow (Hard Candy Fierce Effects “Hide and Seek”)
  • Black Eyeliner (Felt- Palladio ~ Liquid- Rimmel London)
  • Glitter Black Eyeliner (Hard Candy)
  • Mascara (Wet N Wild Mega Protein ~ Miss Manga)
  • Glitter Mascara/Lash Tinsel (Hard Candy)
  • Make-up brushes….. duh

faerie1). Smear primer all over eyes. I also spread it out past my one eye (the one with faerie wing) just as extra assurance.

2). Use purple-y/pink eyeshadow (rectangle-ed) and put that on the inner corner of your eyes.

3). Use plain black eyeshadow on center of eye. Blend into the purple-y. I also added a glittery purple on top of the plain black, because the black was pissing me off and not being black enough. So it adds a cool purple sheen. I like it c:

5). Draw faerie wing coming out of outer corner of one (or both if you’d like) eye with eyeliner. I used liquid black. (I know mine looks like shit…. hush) I also used the glitter black eyeliner to add little glitter highlights to the wing.

6). Put glitter black eyeshadow on the outer corner of eye and blend into plain black. I only went slightly above the crease this time. I also added the glittery purple on top of the plain black, becuase the black was pissing me off and not being black enough. So it adds a cool purple sheen.

7). For the other eye, I did all the same eyeshadow and wasn’t planning on anything. But some of the Stella shadow fell onto my cheek and that shit is so hard to get off without whipping out some make-up remover. So, I just blended it out and to the bottom of my eye. I also took the glitter liner and made several quick lines on top of the blended/fallen shadow and then took my brush and blended the lines out slightly. It looks so flipping cool!

8). For my eyebrows, I just used my felt-tipped liner and made lots of dots outlining my brows. Again, I made the biggest dots where my brow arches and ends.

9). I first applied a layer of my protein mascara. Wait to dry. Applied a good layer of Miss Manga mascara. Wait. Apply glitter mascara/lash tinsel. I used three mascaras, only because the Miss Manga is easier to get off if I have a layer of my protein mascara under it. And I wanted my lashes to sparkle… like a faerie….

10). Setting spray.

IMG_3516 IMG_3519 IMG_3520 IMG_3517 IMG_3521 IMG_3522

I also faux-hawked up my hair just because it looks really cute to finish my dark faerie make-up. :3 This is the first time in a while using my hair wax again xD Plus lots of hair spray. And lots of hair teasing. Oh my gods, the fucking teasing ;-; What have I fucking done to my hair??  Good thing hair washing day is Sunday….

Heh, ignore my sudden realization of what I put my hair through. ~I rarely straighten it anymore because I’ve been losing my shit over my hair’s health. I take care of it, but for some reason I’ve been extra scared to do anything to it. I don’t know why.

What do you guys think? I really like this one. ^u^ The wing came out pretty cool!

Byeee guys!

DIY: Lace Shorts

Currently Listening To: “King for a Day” -Pierce the Veil

Remember when I said I bought two pairs of pants to cut up? Well, I finally got around to actually hemming the other pair and I ended up doing more shit to it. So, I started this last night and just finished it this morning. I think they came out pretty well. So, onto the diy!

Also, (I don’t know why I haven’t been doing this) I’m going to go through and make all my DIY posts like my make-up posts. I have no idea why I never thought of actually doing that, but I’m doing it now! Heh..

IMG_3506 IMG_3505 IMG_3504IMG_3500

I have no idea why that one picture is derping out on me. But just turn your devices upside down and it’ll all be okay.

Materials Needed::

  • Shorts. Or a pair of pants to cut into shorts.
  • Lace
  • Ribbon
  • Sewing supplies (needle, thread, scissors…)
  • Scissors… just to be clear.
  • Hot glue…. (I would recommend just sewing everything, but I took a small shortcut because I was tired and have difficulties sewing stiff ribbon.

1). (If you already have shorts, ignore this) Measure how long you want your shorts, cut them, and hem the bottom.

IMG_34982). Lay out your lace across the part you want all lace-y and pin it down (before cutting it). I used safety pins, because it allows me to move the shorts inside and out without stabbing myself or losing pins.

3). Cut a little bit bigger than the shape of your shorts, so that you can hem the lace while you sew it on. I just folded the little bit extra under itself and hemmed it while also sewing it on. (Yes, everything was hand sewn…)

4). I did both sides of the one leg, but it really doesn’t matter what all you lace up. Personal preferences.

5). Next I took some ribbon and glued it in the small gap between the front and back lace panels. I normally would have sewn it, but I was lazy and just hot glued it down. I really hate to do that kind of shortcut, but if it doesn’t work out I can always fix it up properly.

6). To make the ribbon look nicer, I made a little ribbon bow and glued it onto the end of the ribbon.

7). Remember the detachable chains I made for the last pair? I think it would look cool to have those hanging off the bottom of these shorts. Like a chandelier. I didn’t get to photographing those, I was too lazy to get them off the other pair.

Ta da! They look awesome. Now laugh at my attempt to photograph these things while wearing them. ><

IMG_3501 IMG_3502 IMG_3503

Thigh high socks make everything better… (I seriously love these and my fishnet pair way too much)

I really like how they came out. I just hope the glue holds up to my activities.

What do y’all think? I think I’m all DIY-ed out for now. Unless I get more ideas. But for now, nothing more. xD

Let me know what diy’s y’all have been doing lately. I may end up getting more ideas from that… Hmm. >.<

Anyway, bye guys!

DIY: Shorts and Legwarmers (+ 200 followers!)

Currently Listening To: “Carousel” -Melanie Martinez

I’ve been diy-ing a lot lately and doing fun make-up, so lots of diy’s and make-up posts to come. Heh, hope you guys don’t mind.

Also, yesterday I reached 200 followers. c: I’m so happy! I love seeing that people actually enjoy what I have to say and do here. I’m really grateful. (does this mean no more Liebster awards….? :c Gaah, those are always fun) I’m just so happy! I really do appreciate y’all!

Onto the DIY! >:D

So, yesterday I went into the thrift store for the purpose of getting shorts. I only have one pair that fits. The rest are from when I was a size 14. >< I don’t think anyone at work would appreciate my shorts falling off every time I fucking move >< So, I looked through the shorts and pants and found two pairs of pants that I’ve made into shorts. The first pair was a pair of black high-waisted-ish jeans (those are what I’m using for this) and the other are a grey-ish color with filigree prints on the butt pockets.

Materials Needed:

  • Pair of pants
  • Sewing supplies
  • Scissors
  • Chains (optional)
  • Safety pins (optional)
  • Suspenders
  • Ribbon (I used some old garter straps)
  • Some kind of hook (again, I used old garter straps)

1). Measure how long you want your shorts. Cut them. Keep the pant legs. Hem the shorts.

IMG_35072). Take ribbon (or in my case discarded garter straps) and cut a piece to make into a loop. Sew it to the inside of the shorts~ close to the bottom, but high enough to be hidden. I only did the front two legs, but feel free to do one in front and back of both legs.

3). Take your suspenders and take them apart. I took mine completely apart and then measured how long I wanted the straps to be.

4). If the suspenders’ clips aren’t already attached to the straps, sew them on. Mine already had one attached. The other one I had to sew to it.

5). To attach it to the pants, I took the garter straps and took off the hook and sewed it to the suspender strap.

6). For the pant legs. Find the end that fits comfortably over your knee/thigh/however high you want it. The end will be the part that the suspenders clip on to. For mine, it was the bottom of the pant leg that fit best. If neither end fits well, you could always sew in some elastic/cut and re-hem side.

7). Hem the raw end of the pant leg. I personally didn’t because it looked neat raw. But it may help lengthen the wear time of the pants. (I’ll eventually hem them)

8). Hook suspenders through the hoop in shorts and clip to pant legs and Bam! You’re done. Optionally, you could decorate the legs as you please.

IMG_3431IMG_3438

I found a pvc-ish detachable purse handle at the thrift store and have been wearing it around on these shorts too. It looks awesome!

I am in love with these shorts. I’ve been wearing them so much, I haven’t even hemmed the other pair of shorts yet. >< Luckily, I have all tomorrow off and will be working on all my diy projects. So, expect more diy posts (and make-up posts) in the future. I will also have a small haul sometime next week. I kind of splurged a little (it’s all under $80, which I usually wouldn’t do that much ><).

Anyway. I will also make a post updating y’all when my diy’s are complete. c: So yay! Productivity! 😀

Let me know what you guys think below! I shall have a post up tomorrow, hopefully. c:

Byee!
